Ring Around The Rose: A Female in The Middle Eastern Culture – Houda Sleem

Ring Around the Rose is a bird’s eye view of female author that reflects the influence of traditions and customs of women in the Middle East. Lena, the main character, is the offspring of prominent 45 years doctor who married a fifteen years old girl. She suffered the injustice of a paternal traditional society that produced an incompetent mother, shauvinistic brothers and husbands.
